The Edisto
River is prided in being the longest black water river in the world!
The river flows, in two forks,
from the western upstate of South Carolina,
joins in Orangeburg County, and flows
all-the-way down to Edisto Beach, where it runs into the Atlantic
Ocean.
For the most part, the water is clam
and placid and wonderful for canoeing.
